From March 10-12, 2026, three presentations on the results of our joint research with the Yokohama City University Laboratory of Longevity Science were given at the Japan Society for Bioscience, Biotechnology, and Agrochemistry 2026 Annual Meeting (Doshisha University).
Presentations
・1,6-Digalloyl glucose from Emblica officinalis (Amla fruit) promotes the proliferation of human keratinocytes and fibroblasts accompanied by increased periostin expression.
・Exploration of Ayurvedic herbs with protein aggregation inhibitory effects.
・Disruption of protein homeostasis induces cellular senescence by regulating chromatin structure and genome stability.
Furthermore, a paper on "The promoting effect of Amla fruit-derived components on skin cell proliferation and its mechanism" was featured as a cover article in "Bioscience, Biotechnology, and Biochemistry."

In addition, the paper on "The promoting effect of Amla fruit-derived components on skin cell proliferation and its mechanism" was featured on the cover of the August 2025 issue of "Bioscience, Biotechnology, and Biochemistry," the English journal of the Japan Society for Bioscience, Biotechnology, and Agrochemistry.
